One of my favourite song lyrics comes from a song called 'A Long December', written by Adam Duritz, lead singer of 'The Counting Crows'...
"Each time I tell myself to hold on to these moments as they pass"
It highlights the eternal dilema of us as eternal moments trying to be fully present to the moment of now as it slips through our fingers.
As futile as this seems, I think the median of photography holds the ability to get as close as we possibly can to the moment so that we may re-live it some time in the future...
